Tsubo with Buttons

£280.00
sold out

Dimensions: Approximately. 28 cm (H) x 26cm (W)

(Slight variations may occur between pieces, each piece has been photographed individually on this shop.)

This handmade, wheel-thrown tsubo with three buttons has a satin glaze made from Cornish Granite. Is intensity varying subtly depending on the firing process and its position in the kiln. The green tones are derived from naturally occurring iron in the granite, in this case, sourced from Cornwall and a dusting of Lark Hill Ash.

Each piece is reduction-fired for twelve hours in a gas kiln that I built this year.

Each piece is unique, celebrating the charm of handmade ceramics.
