Pouring Bowl
Dimensions: Approximately 9 cm (H) x 17.5 cm (W)
(Slight variations may occur between pieces, each piece has been photographed individually on this shop.)
This handmade, wheel-thrown pouring bowl has a satin glaze and a pigmented iron rim. Its pale green intensity can vary subtly depending on the firing process. Each piece is reduction-fired for twelve hours in a gas kiln that I built this year.
The bowl is food and dishwasher safe, though hand washing is recommended to preserve its finish. Made with white stoneware clay and a pale green satin glaze, it may develop natural staining over time on the inside. Pouring bowls are ideal for mixing ingredients like batters, sauces, and dressings as well as serving. While durable, the edges can chip if handled roughly, so care is advised.
Each piece is unique, celebrating the artistry of handmade ceramics.
